Pompey Mick Posted September 10, 2007 Report Posted September 10, 2007 Wiley there is no such breed as a spanish horseman In James Dolier's book 'The Thief Pouter' he talks of 'The Spanish Thief Pouter' and it would seem that the breed could have originated from Spain.

That's D'Olier's website that I have posted up. In 'Flying Horseman' in two paragraphs he gives a '57 variety' background to their breeding origins, bird and country.

gangster Posted September 11, 2007 Author Report Posted September 11, 2007 What exactly do horesman pouters do?? Sorry for sounding thick!! :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ THEY ARE USED TO TACKLE (CATCH) OTHER GUYS HORSEMANS ITS A SPORT IN SCOTLAND, 1 GUY LETS A HEN OUT AND THE OTHER GUYS LOOSE THERE COCKS AND WHO EVER IS ABLE TO LURE HER TO THERE LOFTS AND CATCH HER MUST RECIPRICATE BY LETTING 1 OF THERE HENS OUT TO BE CAUGHT, PLUS THEY NEVER RETURN CAUGHT BIRDS EVEN IF ITS CAUGHT THEM LOADS......
