rembrant2coo Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 how long was it missing before he got it back . it had been there a wee while the shop-keeper was feeding it and it was going inthe shop my mate see,s it every morning when he goes for his papers my mate keeps the birds himself flys in the montrose club
EAGLEOWL Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 i wouldnt dream of putting a bird back in a basket if its been missing living in the streets how do you know the bird didnt have something wrong with it . surely this bird could have the potential to wipe alot of peoples hard work out getting their birds in excellent condition for someone to place a bird thats been living in the streets .as you said he had it back and placed in the race next week ,did he train the bird or let it out did it return to the shop if he let it out before he raced it to return to the shop. thats the trouble people dont care what the send or what potential damage they can cause the hard working fancier

jimmy white Posted September 14, 2007 Report Posted September 14, 2007 if you look on the shops roofs in the center of kelso. there are hundreds ,, most with rings , bet a lot of these birds return to the owners when the food dries up [i,e grain in fields etc
