chichichi Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 van reets by far,,,but we bought a pair from a fancier in holland 2 years ago,,,decker is his name...everything they breed wins and we never lose the young ones...they turned out to be two hens....so I think some more of these will be on their way..he won the bordaux national when we were there 2 years ago..so they are winning for him...
Ulsterlofts Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 Ron Williamsons X Frank Tasker racing them for 10 years crossed and they have won 6x1st Opens NIPA loads of section winners & club winners havent found anything that compares with these 2 familys. We make sure we bring in new blood every year from their new winners .
jimmy white Posted October 1, 2007 Report Posted October 1, 2007 i wouldnt be interested in" breeds" as such,,,,just so long as they were bred from winners through and through ,,for the distances you choose ,, then create your own "breed"
Guest CS Posted October 2, 2007 Report Posted October 2, 2007 Janssens and brasspennings... Next year, not sure what i will introduce new family to my lofts
swilcox Posted October 2, 2007 Report Posted October 2, 2007 I will be visiting a man in Ronse in Belguim who has a string of top national result only sending at most 3 pigeons, he flys the old delbar and carteus pigeons, he has been 2nd Nat from long distance 3 times in 6 years only sending 2 each time!!!!! He is breeding me two hens from his very best racers at 150euros each which i thought was a far investment.
