pigeonpete Posted August 26, 2007 Report Posted August 26, 2007 thanks for the start of the thread little grizz so far i have had a report of 2nd club 2nd fed and 3rd club 16th fed, both van reets, so no winners as far as i know yet, but over half of the people who had the birds failed to even say thanks when they had recieved them :-/ so i doubt i will hear anything of those hope someone breeds me some free ones early on next year am joining the big national so will need a few more birds around me

barry Posted September 3, 2007 Report Posted September 3, 2007 i had 2 of pete one went down on the first race but the other one a grizzle hen should have won 2 races but shes turned out to be a bad trapper , the first race she was 1st bird home but the next 2 races she hasnt forgot me picking her up she just sits on the ridge and looks at me............... ets next year i think.

pigeonpete Posted October 8, 2007 Report Posted October 8, 2007 just wanted to fetch this to the top again!! was just thinking as not many of the fanciers ever contacted me to even say thanks for the birds i bred for them, well there was quite a few "new starters " etc, from staffordshire/ west midlands area from what i recall, never thought anything of it at the time, just thought they were ungrateful, but i wonder how many of them were COXY??? getting them for free and selling them on?? :-/ :-/ :-/ :-/ > suppose i will never know now, but it spoils it for the genuine ones, as i will think twice in future
