As far as I know yes. Depending on your regions thought I think the day and times of screened vary. In Ireland it is being screened this Wednesday around 8-00pm, repeated on Sundays again as far as I am aware.

If the program trailer advertised iscorrect this weeks program will show the relationships between pigeons in the cities and peregrines, no doubt with an RSPB slant on it.

Raptor website

http://www.bbc.co.uk/northernireland/raptors/

They had a programe on BBC Northern Ireland about this raptor webiste last week, they interviewed Alan Darragh briefly on peregrines and pigeon racing in his area. In the program they said they knew of 35 pair in County Antrim alone which seems high for the radius of the county.

I think the programt is being repeated this coming Wednesday again around 7-8pm,(well according to this weeks Tv Guide). To watch it you will need to be able to tune into BBC Northern Ireland though to pick it up as it is a local program. It might be possible to pick this up on Sky I'm not sure.

The repeat programme was prog 2 of 8, Nature of Britain and its presented by Alan [the] tit marsh  - loves percies.

The next prog is Wednesday 24th, BBC1 9pm - in Dundee and Newcastle- tho doesn't mention pigeons.

this is the way to help solve the problem with peregrines etc ,no one will listern to pigeonmen moaning about the loss of a pigeon to hawks ,when they see towns full of feral pigeons making a mess .

the publics opinion is there all flying rats ,but they all like little robin red breast.have a look some good reading

your quite right eagle owl ,,,,,, another worth joining is" song bird survival" [which im a member of]    e,mail,, dawn-chorus@songbirdsurvival.org.uk

True we are a minority that like flying rats so not much sympathy from the general public, game bird takings as well will get a lot of publicity and money spent but general public think it is a money making sport

But show them eating their wee birds that they spend millions of pounds collectively fedding and that's a different story altogether :-/

jimmy these are the things the pigeon sport should be supporting ,yes the idea sounds good ,but what if birds where lost without a hawk attack the rspb would have a field day .the game to play is make the public aware of the loss of the song birds through sparrowhawks etc with the support of all pigeon unions as sponsors.

the trouble is what ever the rspb say in the publics mind there correct. thats why they show all these wildlife programmes on the bbc properganda machine.

like sparrowhawks help keep down blue tit numbers etc .

you see then against us is the loss of thousands of pigeons when racing ,plus the feral population .if all is going wrong im sure they will rerun the million dollar race that showed the sport in a great light .
