As I am considering E.T.S for the coming Season can Any Forum Member give an opinion regarding the above please ?

 

Do the Widowhood Cocks trap as quickly as Open Door , or has Anyone another Method they are prepared to discuss , pictures if possible ?

we will be racing the widowcocks threw open doors and will be scanning the cocks like a barcode, but my youngens will be going threw a trap on ets

 

i am doing exactly the same this year and will assess at the end of the 2008 season

I to will be racing my widowhood cocks in 2008 with the ets system,normally mine would trap through open doors but next year i will have them going in through a box type of trap,it will have a landing board on the front and as they walk into the box they will pass over the ets pad,then go through bob wires at the back of the box and into the loft,hopefully this will be as quick as if they were trapping through open doors and catching them to remove the ring.This is how i plan to do it at the moment but if I come across anything at one of the shows which i think might be better i might purchase that.

i will post a picture of the traps i have having built when they are fitted, they are my own design but if anyone likes i will give the details for the joiner building them
