I'm a novice racing flyer who has just come into the sport. Does anyone have any thoughts on heating their lofts during breeding time and when racing widowhood?

Being new to the sport will be racing widowhood this year. My pigeons are mainly gabby's, svr's and braspenning's, my loft is northfacing. Would I still need to heat the loft? To what temperature would be ideal?

We never heat our lofts and we have fancy pigeons and some racers, we do not race our birds though.
