Guest paulrstokes Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 Hi all I have been trying to get siome information on an old trophy I have. I have had it for some years, and when I was cleaning it the other day, I thought, why not try and get some history on it. I have not seen any others like it before. I have tried all morning to post a photo with no joy, but if you click this link to the pigeonchat site I have managed to post one on there. http://www.pigeon-chat.com/viewtopic.php?t=8765 Any info would be gratefully received. Many Thanks

Fair Play Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 Gosh who's ashes are in it? ;D Looks like some kind of 30s commemorative trophy, How did you come about it
Guest shadow Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 It looks very much like some of the belgium trophies I have seen in my travels they have glass and porcelian trophies
Guest paulrstokes Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 Thanks Tammy Don't know what I was doing wrong. Bewted, I will check the bottom for markings. It was given to me around 10 years ago by an ex fancier, I have just had it in a display cabinet ever since, and suddenly thought about time I tried to find some history. I remeber seeing one similar in a display case at louellas some years ago. Then a couple of years ago at blackpool my father saw one on a stand, he said to the guy, my son has one of them, the reply was "i don't think so". Ever since then I have been meaning to try and find out about it.
