DOVEScot Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 We seem to have a strange one here We get complaints to the authorities that seem to be very strange, we keep getting unfounded complaints from so called neighbours despite getting on very well with them all. The council so far saying it is a waist of their time but have to investigate complaints made. The latest is very puzzling ;D ;D ;D, we are getting a visit from the enviromental heath as some one has complained about the feathers in their garden....apart from my own and next doors there really is only one or two, also I maintain next doors garden where the feathers are landing as well, so very puzzled indeed I am going to leave feathers this time and try and hit the nail in the head because this is a CRACKER Annoying to me but it is really getting to Ma Wee Chickadee
klinkley Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Oh how ridiculous, there are so many awful things happening in the world and somebody has to complain about feathers! What is so enviromentally unhealthy about feathers anyway? The mind boggles. Keep your chin up Chickadee, I'm sure it will all blow over (no pun intended)
Guest Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 Its a very sad world when you have to put up with such petulant trivialities. Why can't these miserable b*st*rds get a life. Dovesote, i sincerely hope you get this resolved amicably, and Chickadee, don't let the spineless-letter-writing-peeking-from-behind-the-curtains-cos-they-have-no-life-of-their-own-miserable-ars*h*les get you down. ENJOY YOUR BIRDS!
Guest Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 If these complaints are going into the local council, and are numerous, trivial and from the same person, the council does have anti-social legislation powers so maybe you should be asking them what steps they are taking to stop this continual harassment, especially since it is now affecting your family's health. And it is worth pointing out that every wild bird in the area has feathers which they also shed, and cannot be controlled, so why single out your birds? If you don't already do so, I advise you to bag and bin everything when cleaning out the loft.
markspigeons Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 know the feeling mate i had the same prob earlyer this year. just rake up the feathers and make sure the birds are clean and smelling nice when they come round, when they came to me they took one look and said no probs here and said some people just loke to moan lol.and that was that

ENJOY YOUR BIRDS! Agree totally, you just have to feel sorry for people who are obviously so unhappy with their own lives that they have to try and ruin other peoples, don't let it get you down, the council will be used to timewasters, apparently 70% of complaints to them are purely out of spite.

Well as you know Chickadee can banter with the best of you, but to criticise officialy to the authorities about her bird keeping is a bit off Do not know who it is but if I find out hell mend them for upsetting the Dan Clan by underhanded means. They will deserve everything that comes to them > > >

DOVEScot Posted September 17, 2007 Author Report Posted September 17, 2007 no point in lossing the rag dovey only get ya cell into trouble just wait as what goes round comes round have a little PATIENCE I have loads of patience and agree what goes around comes around, theres more than one way to skin a cat, and I have skinned a few cats in my day The sad thing is I am really helpful to all my neighbours, they get jobs done for them, they borrow my trailers, they borrow my tools and get building materials on my accounts for top trade discounts, smiling to you and wishing you well, and these are the ones that are being underhanded and reporting unfounded complaints to authorities, So it will be easy to skin this cat because I will let eveyone know what we are living amongst, two faced, back stabing, good for nothing, lying sh##bags

Bad Trapper Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 I know of a fancier whose birds settled on his fence which he paid over a £1000 for(the fence) his neighbour built a pagoda just 2 inches from the fence and the birds have tried to land on it. The neighbour goes round next door and looses it and grabs the fancier by the throat and threatens to kill the birds if they come on his property, police have been involved and i believe things have calmed down, but the fancier is now planning to move because of threats and visits by the council put down to the neighbour from hell. Just goes to prove what nutters that are about.

Guest Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 You will eventually find out who the spineless b*st*rd is, and you will be shocked! Its always someone you know, someone you think is really friendly, and who you would have thought would have been the last person to do such a callous trick. Have endured similar experiences meself, just recently my stock loft was reported as having mice! The Environmental Health guy came out, inspected my house, found nothing, had a look round the loft, found nothing, even had a conversation with me about the birds, couldn't believe the costs and efforts that went in to them! Left saying that should he receive any more complaints, unless they were serious, he'd more than likely file them in the B1N file! PMSL! Don't let them get to you Chickadee, just concentrate on enjoying your birds! Stuff the jealous b*st*rds!
