Back garden fancier Posted December 31, 2007 Report Posted December 31, 2007 Looks like an owl, or a short faced tumbler?
homer Posted December 31, 2007 Report Posted December 31, 2007 looks like an italian owl without the neck ruff ??
homer Posted December 31, 2007 Report Posted December 31, 2007 Maybe a German Beauty Homer, i keep gbh and definitely not one of those .
homer Posted December 31, 2007 Report Posted December 31, 2007 breeds with chest frills often produce young without the frills. i believe the frill on the italian owl is known as the 'jabot' so my guess is an italian owl minus the jabot.
THE FIFER Posted December 31, 2007 Report Posted December 31, 2007 looking at the first picture, it has the head of a" BERLIN SHORT FACE TUMBLER" and the long neck also the wings carried under the tail, those are all the forms of a BERLIN SHORT FACED TUMBLER, also the neck has a trembling action, but looking at the other photos ie. wings above the tail etc then there could be a bit cross in it,
