After being a member for quite a while,i have decided to take the plunge. My first hurdle is the loft itself, and was wondering where was the best or cheapest place to get a loft.Im located in North Manchester so would need to be local to keep delivery costs down. And probably looking at a budget or between £500 and a £1000 at a pinch.

Well we are  hoping to buy a new house in the next month or so.So just trying to figure out the best place to get a loft from.Currently renting private so i dont think the landlord would be too happy with birds here, they have already moaned about the dogs going on the garden  >:(

check your new house has no covenants on it forbidding the keeping of poultry or pigeons as you could have problems off your new nieghbours when they see you putting a loft up good luck :)

It's a pity you could not build it yourself you could bo a cracking one with an £800 budget, the ones I seen at Blackpool for that money were poor quality or really small :-/

that patch of green on the right would take a lovely loft, pity you were not at blackpool, saw a lovely 3 section one for £800 and something, but someone on here will keep you right, also a good joiner would nock you up one just give them some idea what you want, get a photo of one from someone,

One could say, a nice little patch !!!!!,  ;D ;D ;D I hope you are successful in your purchase of this property etc. Plenty of room there for what I see, many a winner has been bred in a much smaller yard/area  than the above. It all depends on the attention, one is prepared to give the birds.

Enjoy.
