Guest TAMMY_1 Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 How do you do that Tam. go in to your programme list and click on the folder , will give you a list of options , click on copy to your cd.dvd drive, after it copies you just insert it in your laptop and when it opens on your laptop you just click copy files and that should be it
PIGEON_MAN Posted January 22, 2008 Author Report Posted January 22, 2008 Cheers Tam i,ll see what I can do with it.
Guest Hjaltland Posted January 22, 2008 Report Posted January 22, 2008 The file you copy to a cd or whatever will need to be the original installation file, then use that as Tam described. When you download a programme for example off the internet, there is an installation file placed usually on your desktop or a downloads folder, that's the one you need to copy to a cd or memory stick.

Spot on. If the program came on a disk, install it on the laptop, and then on the PC create a backup of your details, then transfer this to the laptop and use a restore function to load this backup to the new machine.
