how much would it cost too send 15 pigeons fully pooled in your club,club race only not nationals, just woundering what the different pricers are around the country.

We have a different system. You can send as many pigeons as you like but you can only pool 2 of them.

 

There are 5 pools, 25p to £2. Total punt is £5 for 1 pigeon, £10 for 2.

 

Pools are split 3 ways: 60%, 30%, 20%.

 

2006 longest race I was 10th and last in the club, but was 1st and only bird on the day in the 2-bird club, only bird all-pooled taking all of the £2 pool, winning £75 pools and £10 1st prize money ... quite good return I thought for a £10 punt.

that cant be right for a club race,

it must be a specialist club or a national club,no one could afford to pool birds weekly at them prices.
