THE SEND OFF THIS ELDER STATESMAN TO THE SPORT OF RACING PIGEONS RECIEVED AT KIRKCALDY WAS WITHOUT DOUBT ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE WITNESSED IN A LONG TIME THE FANCIERS WHO PAID THERE LAST RESPECTS TO THIS GENTLEMAN WERE FROM THE NORTH ,SOUTH ,THE EAST , AND WEST OF THIS GREAT COUNTRY OF OURS TRIBUTES RAINED IN FROM ALL PARTS HIS FRIENDS IN MALTA ,ENGLAND ,IRELAND AND WALES AND ALL OVER AND A FITTING TRIBUTE FROM OUR PRES OF THE KINGDOM RACING PIGEON ASSOCATION G. WILSON AND OF THE S.N.R.P.C     HAMMY WE (SIR ) WILL MISS YOU    FROM YOUR LOVING FRIENDS

Could not agree more Harry just a shame that the officals of the SHU didnt see fit to be represented at one of there past president,s last meetings no matter what happened maybe they think if they ignor him in the book and at his funeral then he wasnt one of there president,s after all sad people indeed

well said they didnt give the man any respect,you have a scribe who mist hammy out of the s.h.u book and also out of his two articals in the b.h.w and the r.p. this week this guy forgets what hammy done for his family in there time of need. hope he can look at his self in the mirror each day.

We all know that Auld Hammy deserves better. Let people figure out  for themselves who the wrong uns are. It was inspirational to see so many top fanciers at the funeral and it was a great celebration of the life of a wonderful old man who had been a great ambassador for our sport. The amount of coverage in last weeks pigeon papers says it all. Those who missed him out will be seen for who they really are.
