gangster Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 not sure they may let you send but unless your a member you cant compete and win prizes
pjc Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 You will need to be a member of a club to compete so you may as well pay your WHU fees through the club. Some clubs don't charge for junior members or if they do it should be a reduced subscription. Best to contact your local clubs and ask the question. Where in Wales are you?
deano198 Posted March 22, 2008 Author Report Posted March 22, 2008 hi i have been told that kids can fly for free in the pigeon clubs for no prizes just fly there pigeons but it is still down to the clubs to let kids in to fly ? thank you s.hopkins

Guest chrisss Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 thats what pigeon fancying should/used to be about nice one mate
pjc Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 They are not a million miles away and the club they have applied to is in the same fed. I don't beleive any member should be refused membership unless there is good reason, not because they may win but because they have defaulted etc in the club previously! This is one of the reasons members pack up because they can't get in a club to fly, we should not be allowed to refuse members! Sorry, i'll get of my soap box! Phil
Whats it called Cumbernauld Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 pjc you stay on your soap box cause your right. rab

Phil don't want to sound more like a pratt than normal, but stay on your box what you are saying makes a lot of sense, lets hope they can get into their local club [with a little pressure maybe applied]has this club got any members on this site perhaps they could offer up a reason why they feel a child of 9 is deemed a threat to them[so what if they have got to keep the swearing down a bit]sorry might of crossed threads a bit here but the two subjects are related

Phil no need for you to get down phil you are only , giving the true reasons fanciers should be made aware at there federation agm , to try and allow ,and engourage to let youngsters in it might help to keep them of the street corners and such like
pjc Posted March 22, 2008 Report Posted March 22, 2008 I think there are a couple of members on here who live in Swansea but don't know what clubs they are in. Myself and Chichichi are north of Swansea but do race in the same fed. I am happy to speak to the fed sec but am waiting for some more info at the moment. Phil
deano198 Posted March 22, 2008 Author Report Posted March 22, 2008 thank you all and a big thank you to you phil for all your help and advise s.hopkins
