sapper756 Posted April 8, 2008 Report Posted April 8, 2008 Just witnessed the devastation on the tv, dirty cowards, heres hoping they are caught >
DOVEScot Posted April 8, 2008 Report Posted April 8, 2008 Thats the frustrating part about it, that the birds and all were defenceless. Just shows how much of a wimp he actually is. Sad thing is he is a dangerous wimp, as you said in the papers, no thought for extended circumstances, it could have been your house and lifes that could have been lost if it went un noticed for longer, lets hope what goes around comes around
Guest chrisss Posted April 8, 2008 Report Posted April 8, 2008 iv'e just seen it by way of google, what type of low grade animal creature would do that [and the really sad part if the old bill catch this bacteria they will get a slap on the wrist and spend years boasting about how dead hard they are] > > >
Merlin Posted April 9, 2008 Report Posted April 9, 2008 Its sheer and utter mindless cruelty,by a low life, that no animal would be capable of doing, and sad part is as above what chriss has posted, regarding(punishment)
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted April 9, 2008 Report Posted April 9, 2008 http://www.stv.tv/content/news/main/display.html?id=opencms:/news/Pigeon_fancier_left_in_shock_after_fire__0804081 Above is link to the report on STV, lets hope after this publicity that someone comes forward and reports who done it. Once you get new loft up and running Alex we will send up a pair of young birds. Gareth Hopefully the pigeonbasics fund can be used to get you up and running within the next couple of weeks.
invalidusername Posted April 9, 2008 Report Posted April 9, 2008 What an absolutely disgusting act by a spineless and sick excuse for a human being. Not only to destroy your property, but to inflict that suffering on your birds, and the possibility of what could have happened with the loft being so close to your house. I'm so sorry about what's happened to you, and hope they manage to catch the *expletive removed*. Keep your chin up ??)
alex wight Posted April 9, 2008 Author Report Posted April 9, 2008 I just hope that someone does realise how dangerous and cruel this was and comes forward. Thank you guys for the offer of support and birds.

The truth is that when thugs are willing to go to these lengths people do not come forward in case they face the same treatment. Anyone with this mindless thought for life and the consequences of their actions are capable of anything, so they rule by fear due to their actions. It is the way and sadly always has been for the thug fraternity. "Rule by fear of cosequencies" Worst enemy you could have is a coward :-/
alex wight Posted April 10, 2008 Author Report Posted April 10, 2008 Hello all, just a wee update on my situation. Rumour has it that the person who we all think is the culprit, has been taken into the police and questioned. As of yet i havent heard from the officer dealing with it. I had my insurance group come around today to asses the damage for my claim. It is with deep regret and sadness that i have decided not to fly another pigeon from this address. We were intending moving in 2/3 years time, but this incident has brought that forward by 2/3 years. I will not be beaten though as i intend to be racing again next year from our new home, i will be trying to catch the young bird 2009 season. Can i please say a huge thank you for everyones support and advice that i have recieved through this hellish ordeal, i am truly humbled. I wont forget what wonderfull people you all are. Boomerang lofts, like its name, will come back to fight another day, once again thank you all.
