flighty hen Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 It is good news I think this time it might stay in place I think there has been few people behind the scenes working on defra and it seems to have paid off and it wasnt the rpra ;D Yes Rose I think the right people were behind this one and no I agree I don't think it was RPRA, I know our union whu pushed in the local welsh assembly
bewted Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 I heard but not sure how true it is Derek Partridge had lot to do with it if it was him well done to him and anyone else behind the scenes who helped get the ruling lifted can i ask who is derek partiridge is rose,,,,,,it may sound stupid asking that, but,i dont have a clue who he is !!!
Pompey Mick Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 I certainly hope that it's true, though the existing Licence is still in force. http://www.defra.gov.uk/animalh/diseases/notifiable/disease/ai/keptbirds/genlicence.htm
PigeonTracker Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 Perhaps someone will beat me to it but I'm in regular contact with Defra and will check first thing in the week.
