Surrey Flyer Posted September 29, 2008 Report Posted September 29, 2008 A bit of advise please. 24" boxes or 21" boxes I am looking to replace my widowhood boxes, they are currently purpose made 30" boxes, and i only have 16. If i reduce the size to 21" i can have 24 widowhood boxes, which is my aim. Are these too small, any advise would be appreciated, before i spend my hard earned! Thanks Bob
OLDYELLOW Posted September 29, 2008 Report Posted September 29, 2008 it depends on how you want them if you reduce the size then you cant full close the birds in when pairing but if you look on my thread i have reduced the size by 4 inch and turned the box 90 degrees so they have one door in the middle which can be taken out to put on front to suit when needed , i have done this as wood sheets are 4ft width so cheaper to have at 2ft x 14 inch per box
