Fair Play Posted October 4, 2008 Report Posted October 4, 2008 With the increses in gas, electricity, fuel and now the credit crunch which may lead to higher interest charges do you think the prices of birds at Blackpool may reflect all these and fanciers may get a few real bargains as dealer will not want to take baskets of unsold birds back home or will there be a shortage.
ChrisMaidment08 Posted October 4, 2008 Report Posted October 4, 2008 after this years ilosses i think a shortage will be the answer
OLDYELLOW Posted October 4, 2008 Report Posted October 4, 2008 i very much doubt they will be a shortage of birds at Blackpool for sale they be birds from over the pond and many breed the year before with Blackpool in mind , and theres the few that breed and not race so they'll still be selling what they have.
pjc Posted October 4, 2008 Report Posted October 4, 2008 there will be no shortage of birds there! Some may offer discounts on sunday to get rid of birds they don't want to take home but there stand space will have still cost the same and will have to be paid for so unlikely they will be selling birds any cheaper.
