jakjak Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 I am considering purchasing a used UNIKON ets system. Will there be ownership problems? As I believe when buying a new unikon, the system is registered to the purchaser. Any help would be great. :-/ :-/
OLDYELLOW Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 1 guarentee ? has it expired , the ets system if registered to R.P.R.A the I.D number becomes the loft number i believe i think you would be better getting clarification from the R.P.R.A , they respond fairly quickly http://www.rpra.org/ContactUs/tabid/71/Default.aspx
jakjak Posted October 23, 2008 Author Report Posted October 23, 2008 yes, still has warranty, and not part of RPRA
Guest tom123 Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 it is possible to purchase a second hand system and delete all details of the previous user im almost sure one the clock has been emptied you can then add it to your club computor system via the add a clock icon to you the new members details if you do have a problem contact your nearest unikon rep please note im not an agent just a club sec
THE FIFER Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 yes your club can register the clock to you and put your loft numnber on it,
OLDYELLOW Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 and you'l have to notify the R.P.R.A that your going to use it and register it with them
gangster Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 just send the pocket clock 2 ray knight he will sort it no probs
PIGEON_MAN Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 When you get your own rings allocated whoever does it will delete anything thats allready on there.
gangster Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 sorry to add ray will update the pocket clock while he has it......
Guest slugmonkey Posted October 23, 2008 Report Posted October 23, 2008 The Unikon module stores the information so if you put your module in another computer it will read and display the information that is in that particular module ( black box ) you enter your bands into the unikon program then you will send this information to the module it will tell you that this information does not match user name and you will hit OK the computer will then overwrite the information on the module which will also erase it and then your information will be on the module you will then enter and band birds then you will have to send this information to the computer from the clock it will tell you how many you assigned or changed when it is completed
