A simple question. ie. How many of us show a loss at the end of each year? I would say. WINNING AT CLUB LEVEL OR NOT, We should all do.BUT ALWAYS BEWARE OF THE CAGEY BASTXXXS WHO ARE ONLY IN IT FOR PROFIT.

Spent a fortune on birds and only one left her mark. An unrung spangle from Mike Young. The best birds I have cost nothing.

But it has been infected over the last year or so, by what I think is Paratyphoid. I could have kept quiet, like many, and perhaps ventured into the selling market. No way would I even think about it! My birds are worthless at the moment, through carrying this dreaded disease. So be careful of some, that have a different opinion than myself.

The best birds I have cost nothing. great birds mate sold some in ebbw bridge club wales few years ago after nat sale came direct gave um for club funds last one went couple weeks ago to member on this site
billy wilson Posted October 26, 2008 Report Posted October 26, 2008 i know lots of years ago massarella bred a lot of good birds yhe best were the janssens and probably still are,but when these birds are not raced for a while dont you think they loose there homing ability only my opinion,as i know a fellow in our region was a crack flyer he has never raced for years lots of people buy them,i bought 10 off him 2 years ago lost everyone a lad i know bought 12 this year young birds that is and he only had one left at the end of the season,so i think a lot of this is true. :( :(

terry mccarthy Posted October 26, 2008 Report Posted October 26, 2008 i only race for fed honours and have to travel in to london to mark my birds as no one will mark them in my area so with birdage money petrol corn meds its costing me a fortune u never get out wat u put in thats for sure but if u enjoy your racing who cares at the end of the day let the rip off boys get on with it just dont fall prey to them

terry mccarthy Posted October 26, 2008 Report Posted October 26, 2008 at the end of day gangster its up to them some of these clubs only has 2 members sending in the last few races i thought they would of been happy to of had more members but not to be they have to look in the mirror everyday and keep saying i am the best i am the best but deep down they no they aint to be the best u have to fly against the best thats my motto but good luck to them 1 day they will get there comeuppence wen they have no were to go and ill have the last laugh and it aint that to far away lol ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
