lawrie Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 if you had a racer out for the first time and another fancier liked the look of it, is it ok for him to put his kit of racers out to try and get it in his loft? my brother got some whites from dovescote and he had them out, one of them wont come in and the guy over from him keeps putting his kit out (there never out that long!) should he say something or leave it?

pjc Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 you can't stop others from flying there birds out but as Kirky said go and see him to let him know its yours and you'd appreciate it if he got it in to let you know as you are trying to settle it. Phil
Guest strapper Posted November 11, 2008 Report Posted November 11, 2008 the main point is that the other fancier has every right to let his birds out when ever he so wishes,(even though it can be a pain) one word from yourself or who ever will let that fancier know(its yours)as other post ,worst thing to do is make a big deal out of it and cause friction bewteen you. just politely say , if you get my bird in can you let me know , and leave it as that . a slight bit of anger now can mean loads later . i know what its like as my next door neighbour stopped me topping the fed this year in oldbirds. all the best .
