we were wondering if when we go into our hut we always handle some of our birds is this ok our can you handle them too much? and why some dont mind and others to say the least just dont like it so it seems like we always handle the same ones which in turn creates some favourites :)

I handle mine regularly from the time they are weaned, I don't handle them in the nest though and I know many say that helps tame them. Mine aren't tame but I can take them off the perch without them flying at me (except for the odd bought in!!). I like my birds not to be afraid of me. I think the important thing is how you handle them. Personally I like to handle them like a lady with a loving touch,  so they are happy :B :B :) :) ;)

i find with the wilder ones if you spot them early enough , catch them and hold them for 5 minutes at a time they soon find you are not a threat and calm down :)
