just spoken to the boy who bought the bird from elmar the carrier cant trace the bird they only said that 1 other bird escaped from a box but they wont give him the contact phone no of that fancier so he cant confirm what they have told him i will put up the birds ring no could you check any new arrivals you got by carrier GB06J58866 cheq white flight hen can you pm me if any one can shed any light to this i would like to hear from anyone who got a delivery from the carrier that elmar uses

Hope you get it sorted Frank and hope somewhere along the line both you or the buyer dont end up out of pocket - Disgraceful!

Surely in would be in the carriers interest to sort this out, and they should call the fancier theirselves and be very appologetic  ;)

yes agree valance thank god you are sending for yours yourself i feel sory for the boy who bought it i will make sure he wont be disapointed in the end but thats not the point he didnt get what he bought and heres the punch line he only gets £25 compensation what a farse come back amtrak all forgiven never had any problems with them

I have said endless times on the phone i wont use them - I have to refund a member for some nest boxes as they misplaced half the bloody things, so now i would rather wait for a courier that i know is good than one i dont have confidence in.  

 

I hope the bird ends up where it belongs but tell the chap he is welcome to a couple from the cock when paired to your hen - its not the same but will maybe someway to making up for the loss.

thanks i will pass that on chris i will give him a hen as replacement but as i said thats not what he paid for

fair point harry but i think the young man who put it up didnt know of the situation but yes under the data protection law the shu should not have given that info out wether rite or wrong but i do not want this thread removed as iam still trying to resolve this situation so if a mod. wants to remove any thing regarding what you have pointed out please do so

firstly no need for the caplock , secondly if this member has been dead for 4 years why werent this bird properly transfered ? thirdly selling a bird not owned by the seller is fraud is it not ? as i cant assitaint if it indeed sold on the Elimar site i cant comment , so i will apollogise for my comment about it been from a suspended member as thats been cleared up :)
