cant see any rule to stop it [as long as its healthy] its merely  maimed , mind you , i couldnt  see one winning a national

worth reading the story and poem of cher ami,, the war pigeon, its  on the racing pigeon board under" sticky" a great poem about this bird with one leg saving many lives

i thought this ugly thing had done its rounds , where do you keep finding them ? i have had an idea , can i print some pictures of these birds so when the children in church will not behave , i can scare them with the sight of these horrors (pmsl)

just goes to show that pigeons never cease to amaze you   i had one with one eye  , this bird off course never raced but flew out with the rest , bred winners and lived to a ripe old age

i remember the old timers telling me about Old Man Billy Lynch(SNR), racing in custom house a pigeon with a stump on one leg, and what a racer it was.
