Hi Leighton yes cracking pigeons Mel Bell got is leon Boers from my mates loft who has still got them and is van der espt also from a local fancier he was a regular visitor down here woodland lofts is from the west midlands if you go on pigeon chat and look on the members list it will come up and you can pm him

He flys in 4 clubs well he used to up until this year hes 68 now Guiseley north road wharfedale and yeadon and the northern classic he has some cracking pigeons but still set in the old ways wont fly widowhood i got a new loft last year so gave him mine put it up in his field and got a enforcement order off the council to take it down he beat the council and its cost him in solictor fees so far and not finished yet over £15,000

most of mel bells birds went to france then were sold about 2-3 years ago back in england by derek nichols including most of the the main national birds, i bought a hen at the sale for £525 ,

a guy called smith was on my transfer as the vendor  but your right they were housed in france, i think border star went for about £1500 or it may have been bellway when derek nichols sold them , i guess the ones on elimar were bought at that sale
