allenyeates Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 I personally use alot of watercress and dried seaweed (mixed with grit) and I swear by this. Seaweed is good for all animals/birds. Very complex and 100 % natural

allenyeates Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 Collect seaweed from any clean beach (blue flag). Although I go in winter as there is less polutants in the water then. I get the kelp etc. and dry it on the washing line on a breezy day. When properly dry and crumbled it will last ages. (Used for centuries by coastal farmers or livestock breeders including greyhounds etc.).
