DOVEScot Posted April 28, 2008 Author Report Posted April 28, 2008 hi duncan ime only on here now and again as ime not pulled together yet after coming out of hospital last week, but at the same time i would like to know how billy is keeping, ive got to be positive and say to myself your not the only one unwell,i think my medication is keeping me right on the bottom ive had about 80 steroids in a fortnight and have another 6 days to go on them.but i better not go on about myself anymore,i hope everyone else who has been poorly are feeling better,to all my buddies out there good luck with your birds and your health. billy Glad to hear you are feeling better, as you say there are alot of people in the same boat as you and Billy, and yes there is always someone worse in the next bed. Where would we be without all the doctors and nurses with all the medication etc, don't get me wrong I have had run ins with idividuals while dealing with Billy. The classic was the emergency doctor that turned up at Billy's house without any money in her phone, she had to use mine to phone his sugery for his notes and also to book an ambulance :'( :'( :'( Good news is there is a big improvement today, I have a meeting with his consultant this week to see if he will sign a form to get him a low level house, as there is no way he can handle the stairs at his house. He is getting to the toilet himself and injecting his own insulin and is up to 5st 10lb Waiting on results of his level of pigeon lung to see what precautions he has to take when he gets out, going to race from my house if he can't keep them
invalidusername Posted April 29, 2008 Report Posted April 29, 2008 DOVEScot - Billy must be thanking his lucky stars that you're around. What excellent support you've given him. Brilliant.

DOVEScot Posted May 1, 2008 Author Report Posted May 1, 2008 Went to see Billy earlier today as evening visiting coincided with Rangers game, tossed his birds from Costco car park in Edinburgh today as he can see across to that area from his ward. He is making great progress, his weight is up to 5st 12lb, his consultant who I was meant to meet this week is off ill, he left word that Billy is not getting out till he reaches 7st Council are trying to get him suitable accomodation before he gets out, if not he is going to stay with us a few days till he gets sorted. He sends his regards to all on the site, especially the ones that sent their regards and even more to the ones that have taken his pigeons Still not told him about his best pigeons that got out my hut :B :B :B

DOVEScot Posted May 4, 2008 Author Report Posted May 4, 2008 On the way to visit Billy tonight I dropped in to feed his birds as usual, some one had broken into his loft and shed, all the birds were on the roof and would not come in, which they normally do when I whistle, secured all as best as I could and went to see him, after visiting him I run Carol home and picked up some tools, the shitbags had returned and broje his sputnicks and his mesh seperating doors that he had. They also smashed his food hut area and his rabbit hutches. Just screw nailed everything up as best as I could and will return tomorrow to make the best out of it, despite all this not a neighbour saw anything or heard the noise of it all being smashed up :X :X :X Little *expletive removed* will get it tight or their parents will
