Vic, as it's come to you re-editing quotes, you've proved beyond all reasonable doubt that whilst you're superior in many aspects of pigeon fancying, you're rather inferior as a human being.  Your bitterness shines through.  A bit of a shame really, although you must be used to it.

SOME TWISTED POSTS THERE AINT THERE!

Actually, reflecting on your pigeon fancying 'superiority', I'd better correct myself.  Because, if I remember correctly, and based on your advice on this thread, you're not even that as a pigeon fancier.  Which makes you rather a failure on both counts.  Again, you must be used to that.

YOU! MY FREIND ARE ONE OUT AND OUT PHONEY. GIFT OF THE GAB  MAYBE, BUT FAILING IN MOST ASPECTS OF LIFE.

NEVER EVER TRY TO CON PIGEON FLYERS AS YOU HAVE TRIED TO DO FOR THE LAST TWELVE MONTHS OR SO. STAND UP! AND BE COUNTED, BY TELLING US YOUR FULL NAME AND WHAT CLUB ARE YOU JOINING.? SURELY!

Vic, I've never said I'm joining a club, and currently, I don't intend to.  What's phoney about that?

I didn't have a clue about pigeons, or pigeon behaviour when I first found my pigeon, and I couldn't have pulled him through, or wouldn't have bought a shed and got more pigeons without the help of people on this great forum.  The generosity of people here has been astounding, and that's genuine.

I don't know what you mean by gift of the gab either.  I just post as I feel.  However, you have neither the gift nor the gab.

I can't quite understand the 'phoney' comment though.  I've never posted anything phoney here.  I don't intend racing at the moment, and maybe I never will.  But life can be long, so who knows?

Of course, if I'd taken your advice/prognosis, my fascination with them would have ended after about two weeks.  What was it?  He's a gonna - or words to that effect?

david, dont let this man draw you into petty arguments...you are well liked on here and dont need to explain yourself.   ;)

Cheers Flapper.  I don't think I could ever explain myself to this    man.  I'll let my phoney posts speak for themselves, and enjoy my birds.

VIC BY THE WAY, THE BIG BAD WOLF, IS HUFFING AND PUFFING, DUE TO MY AGE, MORE HUFFING THAN "PUFFING" IF  YOU GET THE GIST OF IT ALL LOL

Vic it appears if you don't fit into your tiny wee pigeon hole then we are a waist of space and considered queer, I like you because you say what you mean but sometimes you are way off the mark in your righteousness

All the best

I wouldn't say I'm proud of myself, but I am glad for what I've done for my pigeon and for having his companions.  I've learnt a lot from people here, and it's a great place.  I try not to listen to people who don't realise how strongly I feel about them - and that includes friends, who think I've lost the plot.  But I won't have sniping from idiots who have nothing better to do - and if they want to bring it on, well, so be it.

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear, whats this all about?

David only has his small shed and was kind enough to make the effort to help the poor bird, bluey!

When the bird got better with help and advice on the forum and from Stuart localy i beleive the David was gifted a mate for Bluey from i think Merlin (excuse me if thats wrong person), as pigeons do the paired up and produced junior. At which point David did obtain rings.

Since then the gifted hen escaped and never returned so I gifted him a new mate for bluey, now called penny and since then another squeaker which may make a mate for junior.

I have met David on a number of occasions now and as he says has no intention of moving towards racing at this moment in time but has progressed into keeping pigeons through finding and careing for a stray.

If David ever does decide to race then look out, his attention to detail is second to none and he would be a winner.

All I say is keep up the good work David and Vic go back to the lonely river bank and play with your maggot.

Having read these back posts, once again Vic you are right out of order, you are more than capable of posting something worthwhile as regards pigeon topics, which most on site enjoy,on occassions it appears you seem to have the "patency on sheer stupididty" David as for yourself, keep enjoying the birds, and posting about them, its like a breath of fresh air reading your posts concerning them.

the man that brought us the thread on british strains [one of the best ever in my view]can produce rubbish like that what a shame, and david keep up the good work,i have an idea that if you ever race you would do more than well [based on your posting here]

Hey you Guys! "I HAVE NO AXE TO GRIND" I just think that the "pigeon in the kitchen" is hillarious. LOL. 17,000 viewers and still going strong. LOL.  There's only one place for a pigeon in the kitchen and that is under a crust.

Sure when David puts some pics up it will get back on track

He's a destructive force who's never contributed anything positive to this thread, and my regret is that I rose to his bait.  I'll never reply to one of his posts again.

OK, two pics I took today.  The first is of Berwyn (thanks, pjc).  Lovely natured.  The other is of Bluey and Junior in the sputnik :-)
