Hi,

what are members thoughts on the height of old bird boxes for breeding/racing.

I have noticed most seem to be about 14 - 15 inch in height.

Do you think 12 inches is high enough for the cock to tread the hen okay?

Thank you.

No !!!!!!!!!!, all my boxes are 22 inches high, I like to give them plenty of room to move about etc in them. Also I have a shelf in the middle so they can escape (if required) type thing & also for the 2nd bowl, when they lay again.

Enjoy.
