Guest Grasshopper Lofts Posted July 3, 2008 Report Posted July 3, 2008 whats the definition of form. What are you looking for on the build up to a race. I understand you would never sent a bird that looks down but asides that how do u decide which birds to send. Stupid question maybe but i would like to know peoples thoughts on this. thanks

Stupid question maybe but i would like to know peoples thoughts on this. thanks now there's a million dollar question i belive form is different to a bird being in top condition all though it does seem to come on the dropping of the first flight its hard to explain i think its more how the pigeon feels for eg take a bird racing all season lets take sprint pigeon why does he do well in 5 6 races on the trot even if the bird is in top condition all the race year although for a bird to come into top form he has to be in top condition i know i haven't answered your question probably gave u more to think about but sure with pigeons that the great thing one question answered and it opens the door to another question

jimmy white Posted July 6, 2008 Report Posted July 6, 2008 when in super form , an old bird ,,looks different, acts different, even the colour shade changes slightly , the eyes sparkle , their breasts are non scaly and pink , their feet are hot , the bird allmost tells you by its behaviour etc etc
