GERAINT  here is a map for you.. not looking good for the north,,

best of luck tom..

ant

on the map is that 52 the grid line

yes it is,, if you read the small writing on the bottom left the exact numbers are 52.24.. I just wrote 52 in for all to see..

If you go on google earth and put the pointer on the map it will let you know where the point 52,20 is..

best of luck

just if that's your s if you go north there the first place you hit is dumfries then  go further your in line with motherwell hamilton coatbridge then go further your in line with inverness on a north south line  and cardiff is in line way edinburgh

bigda the line 52.20 is the north line,, it means you can't go above this line,,

where would you get a figure like this,, who has suggested this figure,, If the national has not been set up yet how can they decide a line to race below.. surely the commitee decides this.. or even the members..

goodluck to the new national.. I have heard they will have sections also.. be interesting where the lines are drawn for each section.. There is a lot of things to be sorted ..

happy new year to all

ive been reading this thread  and was wondering, because the problems in scotland 2 nationals shu/rpra,in nationals in wales does it matter if your a member of welsh homing union or rpra to be a member is their any rules about this .I think maybe im wrong, but i think the irish national flying club has members of the irish homing union and or the rpra just a question?

Basically this line cuts out the North Section as it stands now.

The Welsh South East National, is flown under WHU rules, and you have to be a member of this to fly in the named National. All birds not WHU rung must be transfered over to the WHU as they class even GB rings as foreign. Thinks its 25p per ring now. Used to be 50p.

Why cant they just OPEN it to all welsh fanciers then it CAN be called a national, after all national means nation does it not?

i wish members would listen....the 52 line IS FOR THE MEETING  to discuss forming the national and facts....why are some fanciers stating that its the nationals border...do they know more about it then the actual fed or proposed national commitee?

why not wait and see what comes out of it then make comments.....all this assuming is silly because no one knows the outcome.

i want to know just like anyone else how this will be.

the actual note is...

all fanciers south of 52:20:00 are welcome to attend........thats all it says.

ill let everyone know on the day of the meeting ,ill be attending so soon as i get back ill post it.

plain english all fanciers south of cant you read mate that says it ;D ;D[/quot

yes chris i can read...but like others  ur assuming thats how far the boundary will be.

and like others who are looking to find faults in the new national...i wonder how many will join it when its up and running.....no one can say chris like i said does anybody know more about it right now b4 the meeting ...lets just wait to see the outcome before making rash comments about it....jumping to conclusions will only create hystria amongst fanciers and will lead no where fast.

one thing worries me is the route....cant understand why they have gone down the eastern side of france.....that route is just as bad as the south east thats now...losses will still happen.
