if there good racers them selves your allways in with chance but to say one strain goes well with another i think is wrong like anything u have to get your hands on a line in that strain

 

and really can busschaerts be called a strain in the real sence of the word

has any of the members tried crossing a Busschaert with the van reet,was it a good cross with good race winners.

 

personally i believe that both breeds are some of the best racing breeds ever.

ive crossed them and they have done well,to top ten fed level.

when you look for a cross you need to know what you are crossing for!

Are you crossing to gain more distance or just need a little more speed for sprinting etc, when you have decided then look for the birds that excell in that field and use them as a cross.

Buschaerts will do all distances if treated the right way and of the right breeding where as Van Reets tend to be more sprint/mid distance which could detract from the Buschaerts distance ability. It all depends on the type of racing you are aiming for.
