hi please help,

                     first year keeping pigeons and know very little about moulting

 

                  do they moult at certain time of year ?

                  if so when ?

                 do i need to add anything to diet ?

                 what is someone talking about when they refere to a " good moult"

old birds now are moulting feathers everywhere increase protein in there diet and plenty of vitamins and a little linseed, a good moult is when there are no breaks in the feathers , gaps are denoted from missing been fed or a shortage of feed to premote growth
