les Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 Anyone know how this went?a total of £26grand i was told ,so it seems it went well
Guest asha Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 a total of £26grand i was told ,so it seems it went well What are you talking about,"went well".you have no ideal what this sale means or meant. Why does it always come down to money with you type of people, you haven`t the mentality to understand the sells at the winter shows are orcastrated solely to take your money, even majority of those types even with so called"entire clearence" sells will have lofts still full of birds and you can bet your bottom dollar will be racing the day after the 3 year peroid. You and many more participants of these forums need to understand the genuine types like Mr Sheppard, as opposed to the dealers and big sellers who`s sole objective is to take money, and plenty of it out this sport. The dealers have systematicly destroyed this sport, simply because fanciers like yourself have the "follow like sheep mentality" and it offends me these types take full advantage of your shortcomings in basic logic to empty your pockets. It tells me so much about the members of this forum nothing has been posted about this legendary british family which has and still wins national and international races going back 60 years to the probably greatest Pau flyer, norman southwell. Sadly this is the end of an era, with a true gentleman having to despose of his lifes work at completely the wrong time if money was his main aim,and you give a offhand comment like that. :'(
hepste Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 Asha, can I suggest you take a look at the following site - http://www.stressfreezone.co.uk. It may just help with some of your posts.
Guest Hjaltland Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 I'll tell you what lads, I wouldnt give my birds away for £26k, and I'm no Jimmy Shepherd. I've had em for nigh on twenty years now and money doesn't come into it.

hepste Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 IF ONLY YOU KNEW THE WHOLE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH ;D ;D Whitenight, you may be aware that for us all to get something out of this forum, we all need to be fully informed, and understand the full meaning of all posts. If this doesn't happen, the whole subject of the thread falls flat on it's face. Instead of making a veiled comment, that leaves everybody scratching their head, it might be useful if you took a more direct, and understandable approach. If you don't want anyone to know the basis of your post, I for one would be grateful if you didn't post to start with. And one more thing, I happen to be half English, half Welsh, and bearing in mind the rugby results this weekend, I've got good cause to be grumpy with everyone!
