Hi guys this bird was reported on here last week by a non fancier he reported through the rpra and contacted the owner who said he got rid of birds a couple of years ago and had no record who bought this bird so told non fancier to let it go wild i picked this bird up ive cleaned him up given treatment just in case the pics not brilliant but he has spent over a week down a chimney i have no background info on bird ie what strain what his won or bred so please dont ask if anybody wants him to try to breed from then either just pay carriage or pick him up Thanks

looks like a marselles same type as ones i had  :) nice bird  ;)

where are you if close enough I will take him as a pet gave up racing 2 years ago :) :)

Hi Oldyellow you may be right i was thinking Stamvater Janssen due to eye colouring

 

tend to get the odd black feather spot  / flight on the marselles and looks same type  :)

thats because albert based his birds on hofkens x janssens.. ;)

 

and the hidden pair been at the base of this beautiful colour which he spent 5 days in prison for flying them out in the war , this hidden pair were Bricoux ;-) funnly enough Bricoux in the Kirkpatricks as well ;-)

great idea as he is not a youngish bird being an 03 bird .hope you can get him as he is indeed a bonnie bird
