Guest kev d Posted April 8, 2009 Report Posted April 8, 2009 with it being such a nice day i took the cocks on a 7 mile chuck tossed them at 4. 20 pm they came bang on line 25 minutes later all yearlings first ever training toss not raced as young birds and no training theres still 2 missing but i will check before it gets dark , sent 16 , 14 came together so im very pleased with them . cheers kev
Fair Play Posted April 8, 2009 Report Posted April 8, 2009 I sent 14 yearlings just after lunch when the sun peeked out 13 back roughly the same distance but halfway up the hill which gives a great view over the valley. It was quite windy up there turned once and watched them head up the valley for home.
Skull Lofts Posted April 9, 2009 Report Posted April 9, 2009 My birds have been sircling for 14 days now, 1h10-30min the last 7 days. Weather permitting i want to take them on theire first toss tomorrow from 66km GPS measured. Hope they will do me proud. Skull
