Look mate i have been unlucky as you my doctor told me i would not work again,but ive proved him wrong and i take day by day as i am very pleased to be here,but saying that it is not easy losing a loved one.

thanks for your pm mate nice thing to say,it has been 7 years [a long time for most guys ]but for me and the wife, it was yesterday[most of the time]i am a bit of a hypocrite, as when i was working i used to think that guys on the dole /sick should be given one chance then shot into a ditch as wasters,its funny are much like a god you can feel like, until its your turn,please do not turn this into a "he works good"/ "he no work bad" sort of a thread it can /has happened to  lot of us[and its not over yet] anyone can find that their well paid job has gone "elsewhere"overnight

I don't think most of us will ever know how you realy feel Chriss and hope we never do (not being nasty). I can all only imagine what it would be like to lose one of mine, its hard enough only seeing 2 of them every other weekend.

As for work, there are genuine cases for help and wasters as in all parts of life and everybody knows which catagory they fit into.

i know what you are going through as it happened to me too 7 yrs, 7 months and 14 days ago, our son was killed in a car he was 14, and yes it seems as if it was yesterday most days and i know what you mean about working i couldn't go back to work but eventually i started my own buisness working from home i found that helping others through what ive been through even in the slightest way helps me, hence my work is floral tributes i take the sting out of the cost for others going throught it,

and then i found out about pigeon racing and it has helped me even more as you know its time consuming and gives me less time to think? especially on a saturday as that s the day he died on

as long as you live you will remmber nothing can change that i found that to talk does in time heal and to share with youer partner the tears thoughts and love will make the burden easier but to greve is the hardest part but in way the only way to not crack up sitting for hours alone thinking is not what is good for you talk to lost ones as if they are there cry and laugh with them but most of all remmber you loved and miss them nomatter how old they were :'( :'( :'( :X :X :X

i did not find it offensive to me as a person .there was no way the guy could know about my circumstances,i found it offensive to any one not working, too me it was to put across a point of view[used by most governments to be fair] that if you are working you are in some way better, than some one who is not [for what ever reason] just my view,i am sure it was not done to be nasty
