Quail in the Flight

Might be a silly question BUT, i'm adding a 6x5 flight on the end of my loft (shed) and wondered if it would damage the pigeons if i had a few quail in the bottom of the avairy to keep the bottom moving?

 

Has anyone done this before? Thanks.

I know they do it with budgies and parrots and like but I have never heard of it with pigeons, in fact my son does it but I dont think I would reccomend it with pigeons, there should be no food hanging about with pigeons anyway due to vermin etc.

my mate has them under his floor grids in the loft , they eat all the dropped corn , he has had no problem with them ,

i think the noise and mess they make wont be benifical to the birds had a quail before
