Guest Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 honestly, your not far off there Was trying to be constructive, NOT destructive. Perhaps I should keep my mouth shut and just watch things go down the slippery slope. :-/
grizzle_hen Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 Was trying to be constructive, NOT destructive. Perhaps I should keep my mouth shut and just watch things go down the slippery slope. :-/ I realise your being constructive, but sometimes it seems that whatever we do we're in the wrong, and also whilst your being constructive, there are plenty of others being destructive
ch pied Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 you know kids one of these days we are going to wake up and find that richard and gemma have got so pxxxxx off with all of the hassle we don't have a site to whinge over :o :o :o :o yes mucker , there maybe even a hidden agenda by some 2 faced scehming muppet's , with that outcome as their goal
jimmy white Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 yes mucker , there maybe even a hidden agenda by some 2 faced scehming muppet's , with that outcome as their goal never a truer word spoken
pigeonpete Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 jimmy and ch pied, this maybe very true, but this just plays into there hands, if you ignore them they will get bored ;-) please dont take the wrong way
grizzle_hen Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 I think maybe everyone needs to chill a bit. If post get moved or not onto the right board, just relax, its not the end of the world. There are far more important things going on in life than where posts may or may not be. At the end of the day, moderators will go through the Notice Board and move posts onto the correct board (been doing this for past hour or so).
jimmy white Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 jimmy and ch pied, this maybe very true, but this just plays into there hands, if you ignore them they will get bored ;-) please dont take the wrong way most members on pb are decent and helpfull members, trying to be instructive and aiming for a great forum, which it is,, the biggest and best by far,, any member being de-structive, if reported to weby , admin, mods, these would be dealt with,,[if the complaints warrant this] this is up to the members to do this , if the majority of the forum feel that certain members are being dis-ruptive , then report them to any of the above, i can never understand why members just come on here only to spoil it for the majority, who wish to enjoy the forum
Guest Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 Was trying to be constructive, NOT destructive. Perhaps I should keep my mouth shut and just watch things go down the slippery slope. :-/ :-/What i find on this site that 75% are constructive and 25% destructive, all said a great site and i think webmaster and mods do a great job.And before any one says it brown nose ;D ;And slippery slope may be for some
Guest strapper Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 well im on here everyday and most nights..i find it passes the time when i get bored...and thats meant in a good way its informative and at times a great laugh. i respect that gemma and richard have their own life to live as well, plus so have the mods. what i feel is that if anything is reported then at least one mod should answer same day (depending what time it is)and not leave the members thinking that nobody cares! and its been thrown a side for later....although this may not be the case!..this will certainly ease any greivience the said member has against another. i personally feel like some do..if a post is recieving views then interest is in that post, if then it drops off the main page then maybe removed to its section.?? its not my site and i wouldnt try to tell richard and gemma how to run it...all i do is air my view..which as a member i feel i should be allowed. running a site has its head aches and as stated i respect.. richard/gemma,has to have a life outside of this site. i hope that my view on this thread is not meant to sound like im trying to disrupt the site ,and only just airing my view. personally..i feel this is an exellent site set up by richard and gemma and it would leave a hole if they were to shut it down,i think they know how well its thought of. ;)
Guest numpty01 Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 im on here and a lot could learn a valuble lesson on the tolorance of richard and gemma now the site is a good site and i note some comments on this thread said in my opinion to inflame ??? the site has gone along nicely in the last couple months without disecting the mods or running of it any little bickers have soon disapeared even tho some were intent on causeing them to grow bigger its surpriseing what a smiley can achive ;D ;D ;D ;Dand the ones which stand out with another intent are the ones who just jump in abuse then dont post till next upset ;)
Guest numpty01 Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 most members on pb are decent and helpfull members, trying to be instructive and aiming for a great forum, which it is,, the biggest and best by far,, any member being de-structive, if reported to weby , admin, mods, these would be dealt with,,[if the complaints warrant this] this is up to the members to do this , if the majority of the forum feel that certain members are being dis-ruptive , then report them to any of the above, i can never understand why members just come on here only to spoil it for the majority, who wish to enjoy the forum numpty keeps makeing silly joky comments and its annoying me ;D ;D ;D just thought i would get in ther first ;)
THE FIFER Posted May 18, 2009 Report Posted May 18, 2009 One of the reasons we have global mods, (looking after all threads) rather than giving mods their own boards to look after is there is always the chance that a mod is on site, so can look at any board, if we had mods just to look after certain boards some would go unatended as we cant be on 24/7, and at times threads start off ok for one board but postings change topic, so it has to be decided what board it belongs to, so sometimes it has to be split, or moved, or sometimes better left to run for a while, any intention by the moderators are done for the good of the site, thanks for your thoughts,
milecrosslofts Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 they dont get removed just relocated to the right board.
