Kingslea 1 Loft Race 2009 - Question

Congratulations on the draw,  I was just wondering a few things as I couldn't find them by going through the website.   The bird (my bird for example) is in two syndicates, mine is in syndicate 2, and also by someone in syndicate 1 by a.n.other what happens if....

1.  The bird gets lost and reported as a stray, who pays the courier fee or is it shared or because its registered as owned in the name of Coutts & McKay is that down to you Ian?

2.  At the end of the race when my bird wins  (wishful thinking but you never know) would I have the chance of retaining that bird, (who wouldn't want their bird if it was a winner?).  I know you have it down that the birds are "owned and raced in the name of Coutts & McKay" but what happens at the end of the racing?  I couldn't find out what happens but recall in a phone chat with you whether I wanted to keep the bird which I do.

This is a charitable event so are they to get auctioned at the end with proceeds going to charity because at the time I remember Ian asking me if I wanted the bird back after and I said yes please.  But if another syndicate also wanted to claim the bird what would happen then?

Hope you don't mind me asking these questions Ian just not sure of how your system works.  Was gutted I couldn't make it up sunday it looked a great bash and the birds awesome.

Thanks

I'm sure Ian will reply when he gets the chance to read this mate, the one he's doing isn't like others, its unique which is why I'm stumped on a few things.   :-/

1 ian would send for the bird

2 you only win the prize money not the bird

3 you can gamble on the  bird as its going to the young bird national and keep the pool moneys won

4  if the bird is sold its  ians property

5  you are  a sponsorer £60 for a bird that was   raffled  for you which could win you £1,000 pound

this is diffrent in as such it is all about getting young kids envolved with our sport and if you look you will see how many schools are already involved in next years one so not just a one of but the efforts of a true gentalman in helping our sport go forwards

That's a different part of the race mate, its a special syndicate that one, and yes I agree Ian is doing a grand job.  Thanks for the info bigda, not sure I understand it fully as I could have sworn I was going to be given the option to have the bird after the race, perhaps Ian will put me right on that one.  :-/  :)
