Guest strapper Posted June 3, 2009 Report Posted June 3, 2009 yet more birds in today thats non wing stamped one welsh one gb....should clubs be held responsible for this??? ..my m8 today phoned the rpra and told that the bird he had was rubbered up with no id on it...she didnt want to know...so they have rules to use ,when they feel like using them?
Taylorsloft Posted June 3, 2009 Report Posted June 3, 2009 the stray center don't evan look at the wing stamp
Guest canfordlofts Posted June 3, 2009 Report Posted June 3, 2009 in a way i think that peaple should wing stamp but most older peaple that find then do look for a wing stamp butr can not see it as it is some times bright colors
Guest spin cycle Posted June 3, 2009 Report Posted June 3, 2009 if wingstamping isn't being enforced....which it clearly isn't....then perhaps its time to remove it from the rules. otherwise, i think a loft that has a bird reported unwingstamped should recieve a one race suspension, notified to club sec. by letter. IMO this is not to draconian and would be quick/cheap to enforce.
Guest Owen Posted June 3, 2009 Report Posted June 3, 2009 I don't see that there is any point in having rules at all, if they are just ignored. It seems to me the the Authorities ave started to decide which rules they feel like bothering with and which ones they don't. It is time that the paid officials did their job and not ignoring the things that don't suite them. In fact, I think disciplinary action should be taken against the officials who flount the rules to suite them selves. Clubs have an obligation to obey the rules of the organisation to which they belong. If they don't want to do that they should be kicked out. Fanciers know full well that they must wing stamp their birds before they go into the race basket. Any stray not carrying a wing stamp should be reported to the Authorities and the owner should have disciplinary measures taken against them. Do you know I am sick of hearing people bleating that they can't afford to send for their birds. And to allow these clowns to get away with not stamping their birds because they do not want them back is wrong.
