just a question on what you think we had no birds in our club from the miller gold cup its a 3 day race now the thing is nothing to do with the fed or open just a club thing between members and (friends) we had a race today from pilmore beach and when we clocked our bird 2 minutes later an injured bird hit the board wrecked quarter of a tail and dried blood from his wounds as we aproched the bird we relised it was the verheye cock from the miller gold cup he dropped in the stall and when we went for his rubber it was missing fuming as we were over it we let the bird in and all he wanted was his eggs and box and hen so we decided to bring the bird to the club as we were heading for any way certain members were delighted and had no problem giving first club as the bird would be verified with his race sheet ie they new the bird was in france .as i said it was a club thing thats all sports men were ment to be but the committe dismissed the bird and he was disqulifed i think its sad that members would do this but rules are rules . but the days of sports men were have they gone.ps we won pilmore thats the good end to the story .

rules are bent to let some gain some are enforced fully pity the commitee were not sportsmen and agreed with club members but hy theres next time ;)
