Guest Owen Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 If your aim is to win races, you are probably wasting your time and money. To be honest your pigeon sounds to me like a duffer. Besides it would be cruel to send him off to do something that he can't do. He'll probably end up wandering about somewhere until he dies of stavation or is taken by a preditor.
Guest Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 i wonder how he got on with the bird ? ;D yes a two year old post ,end to story ,just so many can say told you so? took advise and bred off him in 07,produced 1 yb to fly quite good .he raced reasonably himself up to 170 miles ish .was treated well ,not harsh . and not lost ,his sire was club, fed winner and 3rd combine saintes 500+ miles ,was given to another member on here .so there is the answer ,a quality pigeon ,looked after and treated well ,and was a bueaty ,if i hadnt had to move lofts would still be here . ;D ;D andy.
