dudley Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 is the pocket clock still in race mode, only a thought, ken
PIGEON_MAN Posted July 22, 2009 Author Report Posted July 22, 2009 Tried everything I can think of but still no joy, these members use 2 pocket clocks 1 in each club was wondering if there could be a problem there as I have the one from the other club, asked them for the other 1 but weather that will make any difference I don,t know, probably have to reallocate the rings on to that one first. Well I had the second pocket clock bought to me and started all over again I used the other clock this time and all went well, but still dont know what caused the problem probably never will, thanks for all the suggestions to try out but had no luck with any of them.
Martin Dunn Posted July 22, 2009 Report Posted July 22, 2009 I have had the same problem with members who have 2 clocks in my own club. There are 2 problems as I see it, first one is that the club base unit is losing the time signal and it will then not transfer any information across into the computer. You have to reset the time signal and then syncronise the clock again. Second way that I have found that solves this problem, when you have 2 clocks for the individual member on your computer, assign the new rings to the clock that you have loaded onto the computer second, I.E the newest pocket clock. Then syncronise this to the computer and finally syncronise from the computer to the oldest pocket clock. This worked for me last night, I couldn't get a time signal from Sunday to Tuesday evening of this week. Hope I haven't confused you to much.

No Martin you havn,t I must admit I have been having a lot of problems just later with the time signal, allthough the green and red lights have been flashing to show there is a signal when I connect everything up it says to switch off and try again, which I did lots of times, sounds as if thats where the problem was then.
PIGEON_MAN Posted July 22, 2009 Author Report Posted July 22, 2009 Tony what sort of place are you in when you are trying to get signal In the living room when I was trying to do the above, never usually have a problem.
