jonl6280 Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 how many young birds do you take of each stock pair???
Guest numpty01 Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 depends on who wants what but useualy only two
TACK3727 Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 Depends if your floating the eggs to other pairs if so I would let them lay 5 times, float the eggs and then let the pair raise the final round to keep them interested. But if they are rearing their own young no more than 3 rounds.
Guest Owen Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 Two rounds. The second is for others normally. This year I am trying to see if they will be any good at widowhood. They will have loads of training and possibly 2 races and then they will be subject of strict selection. Then it will be widowhood to the coast. I will expect them to race every week and pick up results as they go. So it will be fingers crossed for me.
Guest MIKE1957 Posted August 10, 2009 Report Posted August 10, 2009 Three rounds but im just learning
