Removed thread

I posted about a banned member last night and his kindness to me. The thread was removed without explanation. I reposted to ask why and asked where the transperancy was.

This morning I had a pm from a mod informing me of the rule re banned members and postings. I apologise for breaking the rule, I wasn't aware of it and should have been. I would like to say the post was out on as a genuine thank you and not meant in anyway to cause trouble and of course my friend is still my friend regardless of whether he is banned.

I'm sorry unreservedly, being a mod is tough enough without dealing with this from someone who has always tried to support the site!
