alex wight Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 Well this is new to me. Done the result today as i have been doing for 2/3 years. And the strangest thing happened. The result looked like this: 1. j brockie su 09 f 6908 16:47:41 02:17:41 1028.011137 80/740 2. w stark su o9 f 6908 16:47:40 02:17:40 997.89899 77/13 How the hell can the same bird be recorded under 2 different members????? W starks first pigeon was timed in at 17:06:31. It gave the same bird, and the same time, but gave the velocity to suit the members correct distance. Any sensible suggestions are welcome. I claim to know a fair bit about the ets and enjoy using it, however i will be forced into seeking unikon advice on this one.
Pego Posted August 15, 2009 Report Posted August 15, 2009 Contact Unikon or an agent, as this problem HAS to be sorted Alex.(Looks like another ungrade)

alex wight Posted August 15, 2009 Author Report Posted August 15, 2009 I take it you use the Unikon result programme, dont use it myself could you explain hows it works. When you strike the clocks off, before you remove them from the base station, you synchronise them and it adds all the birds recorded onto a result. I find it very good. It gives you an instant result. We have members who have manual clocks, and they can be added to the result too. It explains how to do it in the manual which you can download from the unikon web site.

My reason for asking was to see if anything is entered into the result manually as I know its so easy to enter something wrong,we have Unikon,Bricon and manual clocks in our club so I use the MYSOFT race result programme.
