Is it ok to let my pigeons out to exercise twice a day?

My wife is saying she dosent want pigeon droppings all over her washing so i was going to let them out first thing in the morning then again about 6-7 o'clock so her washing wont be out.

I am going to have a small aviary on the loft so they can sit outside during the day.

there is more chance of starlings or sparrow's cr*ping on the washing ,

very unlikely your pigeon will cr*p on her washing but it is better to let out twice a day than leave them out all day. If they are out all day they are more likely to suffer hawk attacks etc

I remember a friend telling me his neighbour had complained about her washing being cr*p'd on knowing it wasn't his birds so he told her to come round and point out exactly which one done it and it wouldn't do it again, of course she couldn't identify any culprits!

spot on Phil , my washings out with my birds just incase she ever puts it out on a race day so doesnt startle them by having something strange in the garden come race day

100 % agree,my wife lets them out,cleans them out,takes them to the club when ime working nights,clocks them in when i have to work days.
