Does the fancy name mean anything or is it all in the training. I know a lad who has a lot of good breeds of pigeon and hasnt won a race this year, But he hasnt done a lot of training. I have trained my birds nearly every day and had, 2 1st's 3rd 5th and 8th club, So is it the training that makes a good pigeon. Or the strain/breed? As the ones that have done well for me have no fancy names.

I do not think the name matters as you only get out of any birds the work you are prepared to put in
